Description

Alchemist Zylotol is an NPC located at the top of Wormways who experiments with Plasmium. He studies this mysterious substance and seeks Hornet's assistance in his alchemical research.

Background

Zylotol speaks of his master who was the first to discover Plasmium at the farthest edge of Pharloom. Following his master's instructions, he brought the substance to the Wormways to study how it flourishes in foreign environments.

In-game Events

Alchemist Zylotol can be found at the top of Wormways, where he conducts experiments with Plasmium. He will eventually ask Hornet to become his assistant, offering her the "Alchemist's Assistant" task to collect Plasmium samples throughout Wormways. Completing this task grants Hornet the Plasmium Phial.

During Act 3, if Hornet returns to Wormways after completing Zylotol's initial task, she will discover that the Plasmium has completely overtaken both Zylotol and the surrounding environment. In this transformed state, he offers Hornet the "Advanced Alchemy" task. Completing this advanced task grants the Plasmium Gland, which grows directly from Zylotol's own shell and provides Hornet with an unlimited source of Plasmium for the Plasmium Phial.
