Description

Eva is described as a "thing" difficult to define - a child of Weavers, yet not quite their kin. She was imprisoned in a shell of iron within Weavenest Atla by the Weavers, though not out of malice.

Background

Eva recognizes Hornet's unusual ability to obtain Crests beyond the one she was born with. She offers to grant Hornet "clarity" on her evolving nature, providing new passive abilities as Hornet expands her Crest repertoire.

In-game Events

Eva can be encountered in Weavenest Atla after Hornet obtains the Needolin. She sees into Hornet's nature and asks to look deeper to offer clarity, which upgrades the Hunter Crest and provides the Vesticrest.

In Act 3, after obtaining all Crests, Eva makes a final request for Hornet to Bind her. This allows Eva to grant a final boon and escape her imprisonment, though her independent mind ceases to exist. This grants Hornet the Sylphsong.
