The Faydown Cloak replaces Hornet's earlier cloak once she reaches Mount Fay in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Faydown Cloak Item Functions
It brings two perks: a bonus mid-air jump and insulation from Mount Fay's freezing air, which otherwise starts draining health after a short delay. When paired with the Drifter's Cloak, Hornet has to spend the Faydown jump before she can glide.
