Silk Soar Ability Guide

The Silk Soar ability in Hollow Knight: Silksong sends Hornet straight upward by throwing her needle into the ceiling and riding the Silk thread. Each use costs one strand of Silk.

This ancient Weaver technique flings the needle upward and pulls Hornet along for a fast climb.

Silk Soar Ability Functions

• •Hold DOWN + HARPOON to charge the Silk Soar ability. You can cancel the charge without spending Silk.
• •Release after about a second to throw the needle upward.
• •Once the needle sticks to the nearest ceiling, Hornet shoots up along the thread.
• •Higher ceilings add a brief delay between throw and ascent.
• •Jumping away or taking damage cancels the launch early.

Visit Weavenest Absolum in the Abyss during Act 3, open the Needolin door, and collect the Silk Soar ability.
