Spool Fragments expand Hornet's Silk capacity in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

How to Use Spool Fragment

Combine two fragments to form a complete spool, boosting Silk capacity by one strand. Eighteen fragments exist, yielding nine extra strands in total. Finishing a spool also refills Hornet's Silk meter.

How to Get Spool Fragment

All 18 fragments are distributed among exploration finds, purchases, and quest rewards:

1. Bone Bottom Area: Behind a breakable wall in a mossy area above Bone Bottom

2. Deep Docks Central: Central section, requires navigating an area with hot floor

3. Deep Docks Lower: Lower right section, accessed after destroying breakable ceiling (requires Clawline and Cling Grip)

4. Weavenest Atla: In a passage (requires Cling Grip to enter)

5. Greymoor: Above Shakra's bench, entrance on upper right to Halfway Home tavern (requires Cling Grip)

6. The Slab: At the top of leftmost indoor segment (requires Cling Grip and transport to The Slab)

7. Grand Gate: At the top of the Grand Gate

8. Whiteward: Under the lift (requires access to Whiteward)

9. High Halls: At the highest point in the left vertical room (requires Faydown Cloak)

10. Memorium Left: In the left section (requires Faydown Cloak and Clawline)

11. Underworks Lower: Lower right section, behind a breakable wall
